An elegantly appointed one bedroom apartment with a south-west facing garden, on the ground floor of a Victorian conversion in Chapel End. You're in pole position for so much our borough has to offer, including Lloyd Park and Wood Street.
Starting just a five minute walk from your front door, Wood Street is a superlative locale to have on your doorstep. Pick up some chai monkey bread and an exquisite pastry from Wood Street Bakery before exploring the neighbourhood.
IF YOU LIVED HERE...
You'll be relaxing in your 135 square foot lounge, with leafy views through your classic bay window, an exposed brick fireplace nestled in a striking Aegean blue chimney breast and a white marble hearth. Next door, your bedroom comes in at 110 square feet and is just as refined, tranquil with eggshell blue walls and a garden view. Out in the hallway you have a bespoke homeworking nook and plenty of incidental storage space.
Continue through and next up is your kitchen/diner. In here cream cabinets sit below timber worktops and a Belfast sink, and the dining area is illuminated by pendulum lighting. Things are completed by the white-tiled bathroom with a shower over the tub, plus a handy utility area. Lastly, open the door here to step out to your south-west facing, fifty foot garden. An inviting patio area leads to a raised timber sun deck and on to a stretch of Trulawn and burgeoning beds, all overseen by a beautiful canopy of mature foliage.
Outside and Walthamstow's latest cultural hub of Fellowship Square is just around the corner on Forest Road, and plays host to regular events, markets and workshops. Whenever you want to venture further afield, Wood Street overground station is a short stroll from your front door, getting you directly to Liverpool Street in just twenty minutes. Alternatively, Walthamstow Central station is a fifteen minutes on foot and will speed you to the West End in twenty via the Victoria line. Finally, three bus routes will speed you to a whole host of destinations from Forest Road, and drivers can be circumnavigating the North Circular in just five minutes.
WHAT ELSE?
- The Duke is a fine choice for your new local, but a small detour will bring you to Walthamstow Village for a gorgeous choice of things to see and do in our historic and leafy enclave. A mere fourteen minute stroll from your front door.
- There's a secure bike hanger a few doors down, ideal for joining the dedicated cycle lane on Forest Road across the Walthamstow Wetlands, past Hackney Marshes and the Olympic Park, and on through the East End to the City.
- Epping Forest sits just a fifteen minute walk or six minute cycle away, ideal for immersing yourself in nature whenever the mood takes you. Head south to Hollow Pond to while away a Sunday afternoon splashing around on a hired row boat.

A WORD FROM THE OWNER...
\"We've lived here for over ten years and have absolutely loved it. We feel quite sad to leave! It's such a great area and a really generous sized maisonette.
The dining kitchen is perfect and we've enjoyed many dinners here with friends. The garden is a joy, as it gets a lot of sun, and is perfect for sunny dinners outside or for a morning coffee.
This was our first London home, and we've decorated it lovingly. It's also a perfect location with so much green space on your doorstep from Epping Forest to Lloyd Park or the Wetlands. We are also a stone's throw from the pool and gym at the Feel Good Centre, as well as Wood Street which has so many great cafes, shops and pubs. You really have all that Walthamstow offers within a short distance. The transport options are good too, and you can be in central London within 20 minutes.
The street itself is so friendly, and a great sense of community.\"
