Since stumbling on the little oasis that is Stanbury Gate, we have found it difficult to leave but here we are 14 years later and the move to the South is finally the reality. The communal space is incredibly tranquil and hosts a rare (for urban areas) array of wildlife, Owls can be heard at night, deer visit in the early morning ,every spring the pond is home to ducks, ducklings, moorhens and their chicks .There is also a colony of greater crested newts.

Having said that, it is also the perfect place for family or neighborhood BBQ's, chat with the neighbours or quiet sundowners.

The field adjacent to our land is perfect for walks with or without dogs and leads to road free spaces.

Stanbury Gate is nicely tucked away not far off Basingstoke Road and is a beautiful private mews style development sets in stunning communal grounds with a pond. All the years we have been in the area, we never really knew just what was tucked behind the private entrance to the development. Well now we do an its just fabulous!
