Description

If you’re looking for a house with lots of space and a low-maintenance garden this could be the one for you. Conveniently located close to the centre of East Ham with its many shops, amenities, and tube station, this Victorian terraced house has been extended and completely renovated to create a fabulous four bedroom family home.

IF YOU LIVED HERE...

With 1,442 square feet of living space and eaves storage, this light and spacious property provides plenty of room for modern day living, with generously sized rooms on all three floors. On the ground floor, the sheltered porch leads to a long hallway with doors to two large open plan spaces; a front living room and a rear kitchen/diner. The 24’6” long living room, originally two rooms. is a serene contemporary-style space that divides naturally into lounge and dining zones. The large bay window at the front provides great natural light, and a door at the rear connects it to the kitchen/diner.

This stunning room extends to over 20 ft and has wide bifold doors that open onto the garden terrace to create a continuous indoor/outdoor entertaining space. Smart handleless graphite grey fitted cabinets discreetly house a range of integrated appliances, an island opposite provides additional worktop space and a breakfast bar, and there’s still space left over for a dining table and a lounge area. There’s also a door to a WC. Four rooflights in the high ceilings flood the room with natural light and imbue a loft-like ambience.

There are two double bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor. The main bedroom, a huge 14 ft by 13 ft, has two windows including a bay, and the second rear bedroom has garden views. The spectacular family bathroom has metro-tiled walls, patterned flooring and a contemporary freestanding bath, shower enclosure, wall hung washbasin console and WC.

The top (loft) floor is home to the third bedroom and fourth bedrooms. The third bedroom has an en suite shower room, excellent natural light thanks to two Velux roof lights and a rear window, and built-in eaves storage. The fourth bedroom, which can fit a double bed, also overlooks the rear garden.
The property has a paved front garden with a low wall and a 10m rear garden which has been landscaped to create a low-maintenance outdoor space, with a decked terrace and artificial turf lawn.

A WORD FROM THE OWNER...

\"We’ve lived here for over 10 years and have loved it. There’s a diverse community all around and so much on our doorstep. It’s impossible to keep up with all the new restaurants ranging from small hole in the wall eateries to award winning pubs and restaurants. With the District Line a 7 minute walk away you can be in Central London within 30minutes. We think this might just be the one of the most convenient undiscovered locations in London. You have extensive access routes by car which can get you to the M25, A406 and A13 in minutes. After months of research and meticulous planning we carried out a major building project starting in March 2020. To our delight apart from a few hiccups and the usual overspend the build has been a huge success. The house itself is beautiful, we love snuggling in front of the sofa on a winter evening and having the Bi-Folds open in the in the summer to let the light flood in. It has an outstanding selection of schools and nurseries within walking distance and shops selling anything you could wish for. We really have enjoyed our time here and are sure the future owners will feel the same.\"
