Description

Tenure: Freehold

This house has been lovingly owned by the same family for the last 24 years and offers spacious and flexible accommodation.

It is set in an idyllic semi-rural village on a quiet road, with a beautiful landscaped garden to the rear.

A driveway offers off road parking for 3 vehicles with access to an attached garage. The remaining frontage is given over to lawn.

The bright entrance hall has a useful cloakroom and opens into a versatile layout that is ideal for family life.

You have a large lounge with views onto the garden. There is a lovely kitchen/diner with a larder and, in addition, a study which could also be used as a playroom or 4th bedroom.

On the first floor there is a bright landing and 3 good sized bedrooms plus a family bathroom.

As you would expect the property comes with gas central heating and double glazing.

Externally there is a large and sunny mature rear garden which has been enjoyed by the vendors during their tenure. There is also an outside power point.

In our opinion the property offers great scope for extension to both the rear and side and is just waiting for a new owner to make it into a forever home.

This home`s location presents a perfect dynamic of excellent schools, superb transport links and a stunning rural back drop. It is also a dream project to create your own vision and add value in the future. A must see!

We asked the vendors about their beautiful family home and they were kind enough to provide us with the following information which in our opinion really sums up what is great about this property.

So why not read on, then take the immersive virtual tour and book your viewing on this lovely home

What made you choose the property when you bought it?
Firstly, we liked the position of the house. Langton Green has always been a desirable place to live and we liked the lane on which the house was situated.
We loved the garden, which we felt had character, was low maintenance and was not overlooked.
Inside, we loved the aspect of the lounge with the patio doors giving a view of the garden. We felt that the house would be perfect for raising our family.

What have you enjoyed about living there?
We have found the house perfect for family life, particularly the large lounge and, in addition, the study has proved invaluable for my work. The garden is wonderful and we spend a lot of time outside in the summer. The garage and long driveway, which provides space for three cars, have proved very useful. Farnham Lane has a definite village feel to it, yet it is close to Tunbridge Wells. The primary school (outstanding), is a short walk away and there are outstanding grammar schools in Tunbridge Wells, a short bus ride away.
One aspect that we have particularly enjoyed are the walks available from our doorstep. There are lovely country walks in every direction, including walks to some fantastic country pubs!
It is a short walk to the village shops and cafe and a 10-15 minute walk to Rusthall, with its larger selection of shops and medical practice.
