Description

Why buy this home?

Space is the theme throughout this wonderful home which offers more square footage than the average two storey four bedroom house.

An entrance hall offers space to remove coats and shoes before you step into the impressive open-plan downstairs of this family home. The kitchen is at the front of the house and has handle-less white high gloss doors set off against light wood effect worktops. Integrated appliances include a washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer as well as a gas hob and double electric oven. Although there is a dedicated dining area in the main living space, there is still room for a small table or breakfast bar in the kitchen.

The size and shape of the living space provides the ability to lay the room out in numerous variations, meaning it should work for a buyer regardless of what furniture they have. There is also a useful understairs storage cupboard which the current owners are have a tumble dryer in as it has a power supply.

French doors lead to the rear garden which is low maintenance and has two patio areas to make the most of the sun. There is also rear access to the parking which is provided in the form of two side by side spaces, as well as ample communal parking bays on the road.

On the first floor is the huge second bedroom which is ideal as a playroom, second reception room or large bedroom for a teenager who wants their own space. The third bedroom is also a double as shown off by the current owners who have two children sharing this bedroom. Both bedrooms on this floor are served by the family bathroom which has a tiled floor, overhead shower and useful ledge for toiletries.

The top floor is dedicated to the spectacular master suite which even has its own landing. Popular with parents who crave their own space and couples who want that wow factor, this room really does need to be experienced in person to be full appreciated. There is a cupboard that can be used as storage or as a wardrobe, an ensuite with double shower and Velux window.

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston.

Newton Leys Primary School opened in 2016 and accepts children from age 3 (nursery) to age 11 (Year 6). Many parents take advantage of the Grammar Schools in Aylesbury for Secondary education being only approximately 11 miles away.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Barbers and a 8000 sq. ft Asda. At the end of April the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.\r
