Thinking back to their search for a new home 14 years ago, Liz and Mike can recall exactly what drew them to the property at Christian Court. “The house is set on a little cul-de-sac, which feels very private, and looks out on to a wooded area, which is something of an oasis,” says Liz. “We looked at lots of houses but, as soon as we saw this one, we knew straight away that we wanted to live here. It is a very calm, peaceful setting, which attracts lots of wildlife, especially birds.” The house itself also held great potential to become the family home they were seeking. “It was very roomy inside and we knew we could open it up, remodel it and upgrade it to provide us with everything we wanted.”
